Privacy Notice

Last updated: 20 October 2026. This notice is a draft reflecting the website's actual behaviour as built; it has not undergone external legal review and the owner should confirm it before relying on it.

What this notice covers

This notice explains how Eye of Africa collects and uses personal information submitted through this website — specifically, through the enquiry form on our Contact page. This website does not operate user accounts, a customer dashboard, or payment processing, and does not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies.

Information we collect

When you submit the enquiry form, we collect: your name, email address, the service or opportunity type you select, and the message you write. Company, phone number, and country are optional fields you may choose to leave blank. We also log, for basic spam and abuse prevention, the submission time and a technical rate-limit marker tied to your session — this is not combined with the message content.

How we use it

We use the information you submit solely to respond to your enquiry and to carry out the advisory or facilitation work you have asked us about. We do not sell, rent, or share your enquiry details with third parties, except where you ask us to make an introduction on your behalf, or where required by law.

How we store it

Enquiry submissions are delivered to our enquiries mailbox. In a development or testing environment only, submissions are instead written to a local file for testing purposes and are not emailed anywhere. We retain enquiry records only as long as reasonably needed to respond to and conclude the matter you raised.

Cookies

This website uses a single session cookie, strictly necessary for form security (CSRF protection) and basic rate limiting on the enquiry form. It is not used for tracking, advertising, or analytics, and is not shared with third parties. Because no non-essential cookies are set, this site does not display a cookie consent banner.

Your rights

You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to any legal or legitimate business reason we may have to retain it (for example, an ongoing engagement). Contact us through our enquiry form to make such a request.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as the website's functionality changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above.
